Poetworld

About Us

Everything started back in 2001 with a simple idea: provide low cost Internet with the ability for users to reach out to their creative side. Poetworld was the first idea I knocked around because it encompassed a vision of the global reach of the Internet and had the underlying dial-up service for our customers. Being an artistic outlet was simply an added bonus.

We've been continually operating the dial-up service since February of 2002, and are celebrating 5 years in business. It's hard to believe how far things have come from the days of me running things out of my garage. Here is what we strive for with each of our users:

· Reliable connections - We strive for your dial-up account to be up 99.9% of the time each and every month.

· Robust e-mail service - While the occasional glitch happens with e-mail, people come to Poetworld for the vanity, to be known as a poet and we work our hardest to provide efficient and effective e-mail service. Our mail systems are fully redundant and our spam systems are from Vircom, winners of numerous mail system awards in the mail delivery industry for blocking out the un-wanted junk.

· Helpful support - No one else in the industry has support staff like we do, and we make sure our customers are our first priority. We pride ourselves on answering every call during our business hours in less than 5 minutes. Most times it's as little as 10 seconds. You shouldn't have to pay 21.95 to talk to a live body, or even 9.95.

· Flexibility on your payments - Not only do we avoid any setup fees for our customers, but we also allow you to pay by check or money order, something you can't even find with those more expensive providers. We believe our customers come from all different walks of life, and we shouldn't penalize them for wanting to pay in their method.

Finally, we want to thank you for visiting us. Without you, we wouldn't be here and we are grateful for that everyday. If you have any feedback, or questions, simply use the live help area on the main page of the site, or e-mail us at support@poetworld.net.
